SAVETHEFACE was an online resource that served a community of urban explorers and photographers in Philadelphia from 2015 to 2018. The website featured unique places in the city that were rare and hard to get to, such as abandoned buildings, rooftops and underground tunnels. We also featured events that were happening in the city that week, as well as profiles of notable local creatives. We developed a strong following of over 30k Instagram followers, sold merchandise, organized meetups and curated gallery exhibitions. I designed the SAVETHEFACE brand identity and website, contributed content and handled day-to-day creative tasks.
SØNA was the name of our weekly newsletter. Every Sunday, we texted our subscribers a list of new places and events that were added to the website.
A series of graphics and custom marks for each of the major cities in the United States. These were cities we hoped to develop creative communities in. The marks were designed to reflect the architectural characteristics of each city. I screen printed each graphic on wood panels, which you’ll find at the bottom of the page.
